It all started in 2009 (1388 in the Persian calendar) when Axvajeh opened its doors at a time kids’ photography was still a rarity in Iran. Our founder’s passion for capturing the wonder of childhood was so strong that they became the youngest officially licensed studio owner in the country at that time.

Bringing New York Techniques to Tehran
Headshot Crew Commitment to excellence led our founder to train with one of the world’s best. As part of Peter Hurley’s Headshot Crew in New York, we learned the art of portrait photography from a true master. Peter Hurley, a renowned portrait expert, taught us how to bring out genuine expressions and confidence in front of the camera. We brought these New York–style portrait techniques back home, raising the bar for kids’ photography in Iran.
This international training helped Axvajeh blend world-class portrait methods with our own warm Iranian hospitality, creating a style that is uniquely ours.
